BrieflyHire does not create user accounts or send project-brief answers to our servers. Brief generation occurs in your browser.

In-progress and completed brief answers are saved in local browser storage to support recovery and editing. Drafts are available for up to 30 days and are removed when an expired draft is next accessed. Start again removes the entered answers after confirmation. Browser settings can remove this storage at any time; recovery may be unavailable in restricted sessions.

With your permission for non-essential measurement, we preserve campaign parameters such as UTM values, gclid and msclkid in session storage. This supports on-site advertising attribution, not proof of an affiliate purchase. This storage is limited to the current browser session and is cleared when you reject non-essential measurement. Project answers are never added to affiliate URLs.

Non-essential analytics and advertising tags load only after consent. With permission, campaign and advertising click identifiers may be sent to configured measurement providers such as Google to attribute visits and referrals. These identifiers can relate to your browser or an advertising interaction. Analytics events describe actions such as completing a brief or following an outbound link; they do not include your brief answers, names or email addresses. Advertising personalization remains disabled.

Consent defaults deny analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user-data use and advertising personalization before tags execute. Acceptance permits the first three for measurement; personalization stays denied. Rejection updates consent to denied and clears on-site attribution. If storage is unavailable, an explicit choice and consented attribution can be held only in page memory; a fresh page load defaults to denied. Drafts remain independent of measurement consent.

We version the measurement choice. A previous analytics-only acceptance does not silently authorise advertising user-data use; the notice asks for a new choice. An existing rejection remains respected.

If a conversion experiment is enabled, visitors who accept non-essential measurement may receive a random control or variant assignment stored in this browser. Only one experiment can be active at a time. Rejecting non-essential measurement removes the active assignment and returns the standard experience. You can reopen cookie preferences in the footer.

You can accept or reject non-essential measurement through the cookie preferences notice. You can also remove browser storage using your browser settings. Websites you visit from BrieflyHire have their own privacy practices.
